Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 75 … Comic Books to TV Shows Galore!!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #75…
Welcome to ehnother week of the Warlock Hour, here is what you will find in this week’s episode. New movies that have been announced using the 3 R’s of Hollywood; Re-boot, Re-imagine and Re-make. The Modern Stone Age Family, Georges St. Pierre and Christmas Horror are involved in those 3 R’s as well as a couple of Aussie actor rumors. In my little superhero segment, we have word from Hugh Jackman about the status of a possible new Wolverine movie. Also, on the small screen we have quite a few new series of comic book TV shows coming to us. Shows like: The Flash, Constantine, Gotham, Marvel’s Agent Carter and iZombie all make their debut this fall. I also break down the renewals, cancellations and new series being brought to us in the Fall Season. Including linking below the full slate of new shows as I only mentioned a few that popped out at me. In our breaking news we have a theory about how a new TV show may get only limited episodes. Also, Channing Tatum may be joining the X-Men Universe for Fox.
Over on the sports side of things, I give you a brief recap of the 2014 NFL Entry Draft. Also I tell you who each of the Ehnother Podcast family’s teams drafted (except Jetscreamer, mostly because I didn’t have time to get his favourite team before hand). The NFL Draft had a record 4 Canadians drafted and half of them went to the Baltimore Ravens. The NHL 2nd round is almost over and I tell you where the series are as of the recording of the podcast. Some I like, most I do not. Wrapping the show up this week was the baseball standings and statistics.
Hope you enjoyed the show, and be sure to come back next week for more.

SUPER HERO POWER HERO

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 74… It’s AMAZING!!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #74…
Welcome to ehnother week of the Warlock Hour where I will give you an “AMAZING” review. That’s right I am going to do a vocal review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, for those of you who haven’t yet seen the movie, I will give you a heads up as to when the review is and you can skip over the 36mins and 32seconds where I talk all about Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Of course we have all your regular segments. In comic book releases we begin the month of #31 with DC and Marvel Explores a mini-series that will try to find out who killed The Watcher. Sadly, this week we lost 2 great actors, so we have to kick off the entertainment section with a couple of Tinseltown Stiffs. Unfortunately for you, I take my try at singing… don’t worry, its not long and I even criticize it myself. I debut the shorter super hero clip for my super hero segment. Hope to hear feedback about that. Amazing Spider-Man 2 did claim the top spot in the Box Office, but find out where the rest of the field stacked up.
In sports, I have a mock NFL draft as put together by Dan Kadar of Mocking The Draft Dot Com, a subsite of SB Nation. I go over the first round as predicted by Dan and his crew, with no trades, although there are bound to be some. Updates for the NHL Playoffs up to the end of Monday’s games. As well as your baseball standings and stats. Wrapping up sports with a recap of the WWE Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View.
Hope you enjoy the show, and I hope you return again next week.

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 73 … Make Mine Marvel!!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #73…
Welcome to ehnother week of the Warlock Hour. Just a short description this week, as I have had some late nights in preparing this one, and early mornings working. SO… New #1 at the box office in The Other Woman. Your comic book releases are limited this week, 5 Wednesday’s in a month will do that, but Amazing Spider-Man returns to the shelves with the big return of Peter Parker. However, one return comes as Marvel announces the future death of a major character. Some casting news and super hero news. I even introduce my super hero movie time segment clip. I got a very similar, but slightly different one to try next week. Marvel/Disney and DC/Warner Bros. seriously preparing to go to war, will either of them budge? Time will tell.
In sports news, LA Clippers owner gets a lifetime ban from all NBA facilities and businesses for his severely racist comments. Matt Cooke receives a 7 game suspension for his knee on knee hit in Game 3 of the game against the Avalanche… is it too low? Plus an update on the NHL Playoffs, the baseball standings and for the first time in a while… no NFL news.
Hope you enjoy the show and see you next week.

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 72 …Wrath of the Habs!!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #72…
Captain America: The Winter Soldier now is holding up the newest religious film as it tops the Box Office for the 3rd straight week. Speaking of box office, once again my local theatre doesn’t get a top 5 grossing film. No “A Haunted House 2” for Sudbury… Like what the hell?? I goofed last week and missed a couple of stories from the world of television, so the
entertainment part will kick off with TV this week. Sadly, we do have some death to report as the legendary Ruben “Hurricane” Carter passed away this past week. TV shows get renewals, and a shocking story out of the world of NBC’s Heroes Reborn mini-series. Bruckheimer gives us the dish on some upcoming blockbuster sequels. Another sequel that maybe doesn’t need one gets announced. I definitely have strong words for Man of Steel director Zack Snyder… STRONG words. Staying with Superheroes I basically foil the rumors about a possible X-Men and Spider-Man crossover… but hey, maybe anything is possible.
On the sports front, we still have some NFL news, sad news for a former Jacksonville Jaguar Linebacker. Also some footie news that got me excited as Manchester United announces its interim manager. On the NHL front we have the Stanley Cup Playoffs where we have had our first first round elimination. Sadly, it was a team I wanted to win, but my head knew the team that won was going to win… just maybe not a sweep like it was. Also, I get upset at the majority of fans of a particular team. Wrapping up this week will be your baseball news and standings.

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 71 … Marvel will NOT buckle!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #71…
Captain America: The Winter Soldier holds off a flock of birds to claim the #1 spot in the box office. In this week’s episode I give you your comic book releases for the week of April 16th, 2014. We delve into the world of rumors and facts about the past week in entertainment. Congratulations to Frozen for cracking the top 10 of all time grossing movies. The Box Office numbers sees 3 new releases in the top 5 and an honorable mention from last week showing some potential. Ghostbusters III curse continues to plague its production. Announcements from studios and actors themselves as to some rumors that are out there. I am somewhat excited, but cautiously so, as to the direction of the Masters of the Universe movie. In comic book movie news we have a couple of rumors and of course I talk about the elephant in the room. May 6, 2016… could be a date that lives in infamy… Marvel won’t buckle, I guarantee you that.
In sports, could “Lights Out” Shawne Merriman be headed to the WWE? Perhaps he will follow a long line of ex-football players who have made their mark in the squared circle. NHL ends its regular season and we wrap up the standings, stats and set up the playoff matchups. For more on the NHL First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, tune in tomorrow and listen to me and Joe make our predictions against the formidable and crazy “Dice”. The MLB season is young, but the Blue Jays are in first place and are finally making some strides to their potential… can they stay healthy to continue their run? Who knows, my hopes are low, but it is nice saying they are in first right now.
Hope you enjoy the show and come back for more next week.

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 70… Laptop Edition

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #70.
So this week’s show is bare bones. I have lost my computer and had to record on my laptop. I still have some good entertainment news for you. Unfortunately we do have a loss to the entertainment world this week. Legendary actor Mickey Rooney passed away at age 93, huge bucket of win. Also this week, we lost comedian John Pinette and WWE Superstar and Icon, Ultimate Warrior. As I predicted last week, Captain America: The Winter Soldier came out on top at the box office. Some huge rumors this week, and an array of announcements of upcoming movies. From the 70’s and 80’s come some rebooted franchises and big screen adaptation of old TV shows. A tiny bit of DC Studio news and even more Marvel Studio news. Nathan Fillion teases fans about a possible appearance in a comic book movie. In the sports segment of the show, we rundown the running back situation of a couple of NFL teams. Getting closer and closer to the NHL Playoffs means we almost have our 16 teams set. Vancouver Canucks fire their GM and President Mike Gillis. Your NHL 3 Stars of the week and of course the young MLB season is underway. Finally, find out how I did with my WWE Wrestlemania XXX predictions and hear about the shocking end to one of those matches.
Hope you enjoy the show, and if you do, hope to have you back listening next week.

RIP WARRIOR!!

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 69 …DUDE!!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #69. 69 DUDE!!
NOTE: This podcast is NSFW … due to language.
In this weeks show I have your comic book releases as DC Comics begins its month of 30, and Marvel shows how they always want to start titles over with a lot of low numbers. Box office reports from this past weekend, and a movie I will NEVER EVER see is #1 on that list. Also, next week’s big release that will knock that #1 out of that top spot. Honorable mentions for movies coming out this week include to sexy movies. Entertainment news, casting news, TV news and some announcments from Warner Bros. highlight the entertainment section. For me, one of the key notes is from TV news… Cassidy Alexa is your NEW Harley Quinn on Arrow? Perhaps? I also rant, just a bit, about Kim Kardashian making the cover of Vogue magazine. In sports, we have some NFL signings, rule changes and the possibility of expanded playoffs. Over in the NHL we are getting close to the Stanley Cup Playoffs and teams are trying to make their final push to get in. Meanwhile, the baseball season just got under way as the MLB finally got things going on March 31st. WWE is heading to Wrestlemania XXX, but with its new WWE Network, they are screwing over their entire worldwide audience. The Network is ONLY available in the United States and they are exclusively showing a match ONLY on the WWE Network. That means only Americans can watch it. Fuck you WWE! I do make my predictions any ways, and some of them are probably wrong, but hey… they are my picks 😀
Enjoy the show!
