Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 97 … Marvel Rules!

Angry BirdsEhnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #97.
This week’s show will be the first of many I record using the laptop. Hopefully things work out and sound good. Many things happening in the world of entertainment this week. Casting news; those who have been added to movies, declined contracts and revealed casting news. Gone Girl squeaks past Annabelle for top spot in the box office from last weekend. Your comic book releases, new movies coming this week and of course Super Hero Movie Time is a big part of the show. I make suggestions for a key Marvel movie role and also once again get furious over Fox’s treatment of the first family of comics. A HUGE rumor regarding Avengers 3 comes from an unreliable source, but hey it definitely is something to talk and think about until we know one way or another. Breaking news! Iron Man 4!
In sports, I have to talk about the Buffalo Bills benching of EJ Manuel, which I didn’t like, I think they are giving up on the kid too soon. Baseball playoffs are well under way and we almost have our League Championship Series’ set. Hockey season begins tonight, but since no games happened at time of recording, there were a few trades to talk about. Also, Alexander Ovechkin is a great man, find out why on this show. Finally our attention turns to football and this week so a lot of inury updates. The Winners & Losers list from Week 5 and of course the stats and standings.
Hope you enjoy the show, see you next week!

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 96 … Passion and Fire!

PG-13 vs REhnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #96…
In this week’s show I am definitely passionate about a lot of things. There is a lot of casting news, in fact, I think this may be the biggest show for casting news so far… maybe not, but I think it could be. Some news from the comic book world that makes me once again think how much Marvel is better than DC. Guardians of the Galaxy is still raking in some money and has now passed Iron Man and moves into the third spot of highest grossing Marvel Studios films. Alex Winter confirms a long standing rumour and London Has Fallen finds a new director… just in time. Deadpool movie: PG-13 vs. R rating… can it be made PG-13 and be good. I discuss this a bit and offer arguments for both sides. Kevin Smith is a hero of mine, and I cannot believe all the flack he takes online, but I will always stick for the man who inspired me, no matter what anyone else says.
In sports, we have the usual NFL and MLB standings and statistics. Also, NFL Winners and Losers for the first month of the season and injury roundup. Also, Rodney Harrison sees what I see when it comes to Tom Brady and the Patriots, so it is nice to have others seeing it as well. I definitely have a few things to say about the football season and even have to stop myself from getting too fired up… what can I say, I am a passionate fan… a passionate person when it comes to what I like and dislike. In other news, Raiders have a new coach after starting the season with 4 straight losses and the Dallas Cowboys suffer more injuries on defense.
Hope you enjoy the show, and see you next week!

Warlock Wednesday Episode 95 … Deadpool Confirmed!!

Deadpool CoverEhnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #95…
In this week’s show I am a little excited about a few things, but still I have fun bringing you the weekly updates from some of your favourite movies, TV shows and even some comic book news. Futures End continues for DC and I once again address my sadness for Marvel killing off my all time favourite comic book character, Wolverine. In movie news there is a new #1 in the box office numbers and a couple of directors leave some movies. Casting news, director news and TV show news abound in this weeks show. PLUS my biggest news is that there was finally a confirmation from Fox Studios about a movie that NEEDS to be made… properly?
Sadly, we have a death to report in the world of sports. Former Tennessee Titans Kicker, Rob Bironas, passed away in a car crash this past weekend. He was just 36 years old, and he will be missed. Baseball is rounding up the season as by the end of this weekend the season is over. NFL season is only 3 weeks old, and there are 3 teams with a perfect 3 and 0 record… and its not the teams you would expect. Wrapping up the show this week are the results of my WWE Night of Champions predictions. Prediction wise, I didn’t do great, but when it came to the wrestlers I was rooting for… much better.
Hope you enjoy the show, and see you next week!

Warlock Wednesday Episode 94 … #WalrusNo to Sudbury :(

TuskEhnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #94…
As always the show kicks off with your comic book releases, but then we have some sad news in the form of a Tinsel Town Stiff. Richard Kiel, of James Bond fame, has passed away at the age of 74. He will be missed indeed. Then we get into the meat of the show with your box office numbers and upcoming releases. As well, sad to say that my hometown is a #WalrusNo 😦 Sudbury is not receiving the movie Tusk this week, I can only hope that it will come out a week later here. Casting news, movie reboots and sequels and some announcements about upcoming tv shows all feature in the entertainment portion and Super Hero Movie portion of this weeks show.
In sports there are the continued off field issues in the NFL, not just with Ray Rice, but now with Adrian Peterson. Here my thoughts on both these issues and wether or not I think they will be playing in the NFL again. We have this weeks Winners and Losers from week 2 as well as very long list of injuries in the update. In baseball, we are getting closer and closer to the end of the marathon of a season. Some teams have clinched, others are still battling for a playoff spot. The show ends with my monthly predictions for the WWE Pay Per View; this month’s event is Night of Champions and I make a few bold predictions this month.
Hope you enjoy the show, and see you next week!

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 92 … Sinus Cold Edition :(

NFL Season 2014Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #92…
I am SO sorry this podcast may come off a bit… bad. I had a sinus cold which REALLY sucks. However, I recorded anyways and I do hope you enjoy. First of all, Guardians of the Galaxy continues to dominate the Summer and 2014 Box Office. A lot of rumors this week, as well as announcements about casting and writing news. Liam Neeson offers some advice and we get to here what the Russo’s have to say about working for Marvel, Cap 2 & 3 and possible spoilers. WB TV and Netflix strike what could be a good deal, and a few breaking news stories finish off the entertainment section.
In sports, the NFL season is upon us… starts tomorrow …So we go through the pre-first week Power Rankings, an injury round-up and other news from around the league as we enter Week 1 of the NFL Season. Also, the Steelers will be paying honour to the late great Chuck Noll. Baseball statistics and standings are getting harder and harder to stay interested in for a Jays fan like me who knows that once again the team will NOT be in the Playoffs, but all your info on that is here as well.
Hope you enjoy the show, and see you next week!

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 87 … Guardians of Gushing!

Guardians of the Galaxy Cover PhotoEhnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #87…
This week’s show may not have the content that was poured out on last week’s show, but there is still a lot of news. Guardians of the Galaxy doesn’t fail to disappoint at the box office. Your comic book releases are revealed as the month of 34 begins for DC. A look at the upcoming movies, casting news and release dates. A plea for a female-led comic book movie has been heard and answered by the announcement last week that the Twisted Twins would be directing the live-action Painkiller Jane movie. Now Sony and Disney/Marvel are being pressured to make some headways into this market as well. Will Sony be doing it at the expense of Spider-Man? Also, what about DC? So far no plans from the company that porbably has the easiest, ready made female hero in Wonder Woman and has never given it to us in almost 50 years of DC/Warner Bros. making movies. Also, below you can check out a video made by another fan of the “easter eggs” that can be found in the movie Guardians of the Galaxy. There will be SPOILERS in the video so watch at your own risk. Marvel does the classy thing once again and gives a private screening of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie to the creator of Rocket himself. Huge props to all those at Marvel and Disney that made this happen.
In sports, a young woman is called a distraction by her coach for being “too pretty”. NFL
injury round up and winners and losers from Week 2 of Training Camp. Significant MLB trades happened last week at the deadline and they are here for you now. Also, your usual MLB standings and statistics return this week after last week’s show was cut down.
Hope you enjoy the show, and see you next week!
