Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 114 … R.I.P. Monty Oum

R.I.P. Monty OumEhnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #114!
In this week’s show, we kick off with your comic book releases and there is a fair amount of them this week since we are now in to the month of February. From there, sadly, we have a death to tell you about before we get to the meat of the show. Your box office report and new releases for the week; as well as all your headline news from this past week in the world of entertainment.
In sports, the 49th Super Bowl fallout. Congratulations to the Champion Patriots who didn’t deserve the win, but Seattle said “Here, take it, we don’t want it.”. Pete Carroll is the Super Bowl MVP in my opinion. A few key injuries that might even affect next season resulted from the Super Bowl. The NHL finished January and so we have our 3 Stars of the Month, Rookie of the Month to go along with the the regular 3 Stars of the Week. Soon, the sports segment will be shorter, at least for a while due to the lack of sports going on. The slow time of the year for the best sports.
Hope you enjoy the show, see you next week!

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 75 … Comic Books to TV Shows Galore!!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #75…
Welcome to ehnother week of the Warlock Hour, here is what you will find in this week’s episode. New movies that have been announced using the 3 R’s of Hollywood; Re-boot, Re-imagine and Re-make. The Modern Stone Age Family, Georges St. Pierre and Christmas Horror are involved in those 3 R’s as well as a couple of Aussie actor rumors. In my little superhero segment, we have word from Hugh Jackman about the status of a possible new Wolverine movie. Also, on the small screen we have quite a few new series of comic book TV shows coming to us. Shows like: The Flash, Constantine, Gotham, Marvel’s Agent Carter and iZombie all make their debut this fall. I also break down the renewals, cancellations and new series being brought to us in the Fall Season. Including linking below the full slate of new shows as I only mentioned a few that popped out at me. In our breaking news we have a theory about how a new TV show may get only limited episodes. Also, Channing Tatum may be joining the X-Men Universe for Fox.
Over on the sports side of things, I give you a brief recap of the 2014 NFL Entry Draft. Also I tell you who each of the Ehnother Podcast family’s teams drafted (except Jetscreamer, mostly because I didn’t have time to get his favourite team before hand). The NFL Draft had a record 4 Canadians drafted and half of them went to the Baltimore Ravens. The NHL 2nd round is almost over and I tell you where the series are as of the recording of the podcast. Some I like, most I do not. Wrapping the show up this week was the baseball standings and statistics.
Hope you enjoyed the show, and be sure to come back next week for more.

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 74… It’s AMAZING!!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #74…
Welcome to ehnother week of the Warlock Hour where I will give you an “AMAZING” review. That’s right I am going to do a vocal review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, for those of you who haven’t yet seen the movie, I will give you a heads up as to when the review is and you can skip over the 36mins and 32seconds where I talk all about Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Of course we have all your regular segments. In comic book releases we begin the month of #31 with DC and Marvel Explores a mini-series that will try to find out who killed The Watcher. Sadly, this week we lost 2 great actors, so we have to kick off the entertainment section with a couple of Tinseltown Stiffs. Unfortunately for you, I take my try at singing… don’t worry, its not long and I even criticize it myself. I debut the shorter super hero clip for my super hero segment. Hope to hear feedback about that. Amazing Spider-Man 2 did claim the top spot in the Box Office, but find out where the rest of the field stacked up.
In sports, I have a mock NFL draft as put together by Dan Kadar of Mocking The Draft Dot Com, a subsite of SB Nation. I go over the first round as predicted by Dan and his crew, with no trades, although there are bound to be some. Updates for the NHL Playoffs up to the end of Monday’s games. As well as your baseball standings and stats. Wrapping up sports with a recap of the WWE Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View.
Hope you enjoy the show, and I hope you return again next week.
