Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 76 … #CapForStrat

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #76…
Welcome to ehnother week of the Warlock Hour, here is what you will find in this week’s
episode. Your comic book releases will off the show with a strong emphasis on the top 2…
Marvel and DC. We get confirmation on a director that some may not like, but what can you do right? In box office news, we have a giant lizard who has become King of the weekend. As we know, it is good to be King, and therefore the powers that be have given the King a sequel. I award a Douchebag of the Week and Heroes of the Week awards. Can you guess who won these “prestigious” awards? No? Well give a listen to find out. For those of you who love the Halloween Movie Franchise, great news for you in the future. The new JK Rowling film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them may have found its director, and he’s worked in the world of wizards before. A familiar name gets an offer to return to a sequel that has been over 32 years in the making. I give you the quotes from Jesse Eisenberg about Lex Luthor and my thoughts on both Channing Tatum joining the X-Men franchise and Zac Efron joing the Disney and Marvel Universe.
In sports the NHL Playoffs are now in to the Conference Championship rounds. Statistics from the Playoffs so far shows a few players who are still in the top 5 in certain categories, but have now been eliminated from the Playoffs. Since James and I could not find a time to sit down to discuss the NFL draft, I along with help from NFL.com go over what the draft means for some veterans as well as giving a grade to each team.
Hope you enjoy the show and come back again next week.

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 75 … Comic Books to TV Shows Galore!!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #75…
Welcome to ehnother week of the Warlock Hour, here is what you will find in this week’s episode. New movies that have been announced using the 3 R’s of Hollywood; Re-boot, Re-imagine and Re-make. The Modern Stone Age Family, Georges St. Pierre and Christmas Horror are involved in those 3 R’s as well as a couple of Aussie actor rumors. In my little superhero segment, we have word from Hugh Jackman about the status of a possible new Wolverine movie. Also, on the small screen we have quite a few new series of comic book TV shows coming to us. Shows like: The Flash, Constantine, Gotham, Marvel’s Agent Carter and iZombie all make their debut this fall. I also break down the renewals, cancellations and new series being brought to us in the Fall Season. Including linking below the full slate of new shows as I only mentioned a few that popped out at me. In our breaking news we have a theory about how a new TV show may get only limited episodes. Also, Channing Tatum may be joining the X-Men Universe for Fox.
Over on the sports side of things, I give you a brief recap of the 2014 NFL Entry Draft. Also I tell you who each of the Ehnother Podcast family’s teams drafted (except Jetscreamer, mostly because I didn’t have time to get his favourite team before hand). The NFL Draft had a record 4 Canadians drafted and half of them went to the Baltimore Ravens. The NHL 2nd round is almost over and I tell you where the series are as of the recording of the podcast. Some I like, most I do not. Wrapping the show up this week was the baseball standings and statistics.
Hope you enjoyed the show, and be sure to come back next week for more.

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 74… It’s AMAZING!!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #74…
Welcome to ehnother week of the Warlock Hour where I will give you an “AMAZING” review. That’s right I am going to do a vocal review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, for those of you who haven’t yet seen the movie, I will give you a heads up as to when the review is and you can skip over the 36mins and 32seconds where I talk all about Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Of course we have all your regular segments. In comic book releases we begin the month of #31 with DC and Marvel Explores a mini-series that will try to find out who killed The Watcher. Sadly, this week we lost 2 great actors, so we have to kick off the entertainment section with a couple of Tinseltown Stiffs. Unfortunately for you, I take my try at singing… don’t worry, its not long and I even criticize it myself. I debut the shorter super hero clip for my super hero segment. Hope to hear feedback about that. Amazing Spider-Man 2 did claim the top spot in the Box Office, but find out where the rest of the field stacked up.
In sports, I have a mock NFL draft as put together by Dan Kadar of Mocking The Draft Dot Com, a subsite of SB Nation. I go over the first round as predicted by Dan and his crew, with no trades, although there are bound to be some. Updates for the NHL Playoffs up to the end of Monday’s games. As well as your baseball standings and stats. Wrapping up sports with a recap of the WWE Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View.
Hope you enjoy the show, and I hope you return again next week.

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 73 … Make Mine Marvel!!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #73…
Welcome to ehnother week of the Warlock Hour. Just a short description this week, as I have had some late nights in preparing this one, and early mornings working. SO… New #1 at the box office in The Other Woman. Your comic book releases are limited this week, 5 Wednesday’s in a month will do that, but Amazing Spider-Man returns to the shelves with the big return of Peter Parker. However, one return comes as Marvel announces the future death of a major character. Some casting news and super hero news. I even introduce my super hero movie time segment clip. I got a very similar, but slightly different one to try next week. Marvel/Disney and DC/Warner Bros. seriously preparing to go to war, will either of them budge? Time will tell.
In sports news, LA Clippers owner gets a lifetime ban from all NBA facilities and businesses for his severely racist comments. Matt Cooke receives a 7 game suspension for his knee on knee hit in Game 3 of the game against the Avalanche… is it too low? Plus an update on the NHL Playoffs, the baseball standings and for the first time in a while… no NFL news.
Hope you enjoy the show and see you next week.

Warlock Wednesday’s Episode 72 …Wrath of the Habs!!

Ehnother Podcast presents Warlock Wednesday Episode #72…
Captain America: The Winter Soldier now is holding up the newest religious film as it tops the Box Office for the 3rd straight week. Speaking of box office, once again my local theatre doesn’t get a top 5 grossing film. No “A Haunted House 2” for Sudbury… Like what the hell?? I goofed last week and missed a couple of stories from the world of television, so the
entertainment part will kick off with TV this week. Sadly, we do have some death to report as the legendary Ruben “Hurricane” Carter passed away this past week. TV shows get renewals, and a shocking story out of the world of NBC’s Heroes Reborn mini-series. Bruckheimer gives us the dish on some upcoming blockbuster sequels. Another sequel that maybe doesn’t need one gets announced. I definitely have strong words for Man of Steel director Zack Snyder… STRONG words. Staying with Superheroes I basically foil the rumors about a possible X-Men and Spider-Man crossover… but hey, maybe anything is possible.
On the sports front, we still have some NFL news, sad news for a former Jacksonville Jaguar Linebacker. Also some footie news that got me excited as Manchester United announces its interim manager. On the NHL front we have the Stanley Cup Playoffs where we have had our first first round elimination. Sadly, it was a team I wanted to win, but my head knew the team that won was going to win… just maybe not a sweep like it was. Also, I get upset at the majority of fans of a particular team. Wrapping up this week will be your baseball news and standings.
